Victorian forms newcomer Forms Live has announced Colin Biggers & Paisley are its consultant on Victorian property law.
The news underlines statements from Forms Live that the twenty forms and contracts available through its system are built-for-purpose for the Victorian real estate market and will be regularly monitored and updated as legislation changes. It expects the number of contracts available in the system will continue to grow.
Forms Live is a new initiative from Dynamic Methods, Australia’s most established and trusted provider of forms and legal documents to the real estate industry.
The CEO of Dynamic Methods, David Howell, said working with Colin Biggers & Paisley gave Victorian agents access to both the best technical integrations for forms together with the most up to date legal drafting for forms and compliance.
“Colin Biggers & Paisley is recognised for having the best property legal team in the country and counts some of Victoria’s biggest real estate groups, developers and construction companies amongst its clients,” David said.
“Having them as our legal advisors demonstrates how seriously we’re taking the issue of compliance. All the forms and contracts within the Forms Live platform have been drafted and vetted by the best property legal minds in the state.”
The property team at Colin Biggers & Paisley is recognised by Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500, Doyle’s Guide for their expertise and was named Property Team of the Year by Lawyers Weekly in 2019.
Colin Biggers & Paisley was the first legal practice in Australia to develop an online property exchange platform, CBP Exchange – demonstrating their commitment to investing in technology and client-focused solutions in the property transaction space.
Colin Biggers & Paisley Partner and National Head of the Property and Development Group, Rhett Oliver, said he was delighted to be working with Forms Live and Dynamic Methods.
“We’ve been impressed with the diligence that Dynamic Methods has put into their launch of Forms Live in Victoria and their respect for the importance of the legal details that go into each and every one of their forms and contracts.” Rhett said.
Dynamic Methods is Australia’s largest provider of real estate forms and contracts, producing more than 24 million forms since 2005 across the country in every state except Victoria – until recently.
“Victorian agents have been locked into old and inefficient ways of producing forms and contracts for years because of restrictions about how they needed to be purchased and used,” David said.
“At Dynamic Methods, we’re really excited to be making life even easier for agents by integrating our forms with the CRMs and platforms they love using so they can turn their paperwork around faster than ever before. This gives clients much better experiences buying, selling and renting property.”
